2017年にNYでチャリティーコンサートでアメリカ進出を果たしたはるな愛さんが、6月14日・15日の2日間、シカゴ郊外とシカゴ中心地・ミレニアムパークでコンサートを行う。アングルインフォは、シカゴ公演を控えた愛さんに、前回のNYチャリティーコンサート感想やシカゴでのコンサートに対する思いや見てほしいことや、愛さんの活動について伺った。
Ai Haruna, a performer that has done charity shows in NYC since 2017 will be coming to Chicago for two special concerts June 15thand 16th! We had the opportunity to interview Ai and we spoke about her experience in NYC and her thoughts on the upcoming events in Chicago.
２０１７年アメリカ進となったNYチャリティーコンサートを振り返って、印象 に残ったことをお聞かせください。
Please tell us about your charity concerts in NYC and how it made you feel.
アメリカはずっと大好きでニューヨークに歌やダンスのレッスンに行っていました。そこでいろんな方に出会って、たどりついたニューヨークのコンサートでした。いろいろな国の方が来てくれて、私というのをどう表現したらいいか迷いましたが、会場の皆さんが楽しんでくれているのを感じることができ、私も思い出に残るコンサートにすることができました。
I love performing in the USA, it was high level and powerful entertainment and enthusiastic audiences. I actually took classes to improve my singing and dancing skills. I saw the enjoyment from people in the audience and so it kept me comfortable and not at all nervous. I was nervous coming to a new country but honestly meeting the crowd and interaction with them made it easier for me.
今回は、2年ぶり２度目のアメリカでのコンサートとなりますが、シカゴで行うコンサートの話がきた時の心境をお聞かせください。
What are your thoughts about your second time performing in the USA?
嬉しい、待ってましたという感じです。ニューヨークでも受け入れてもらったので、楽しみにしてます。
The news was so exciting for me! I can’t wait to come to Chicago!
シカゴはLGBTコミュニティーの結束力があります。今年はシカゴ市長選挙があり、シカゴで初の黒人同性愛女性・ローリ・ライトフット市長が誕生しました。はるなさんにとってのシカゴの印象をお聞かせください。
Chicago has large LGBT community in the USA. This year had historic Chicago election. Chicago were able to First time gay African-American woman. Please tell me your impression of Chicago.
シカゴはずっと行きたい場所でした。シカゴには私が優勝したミスインターナショナルクイーンの別の年の優勝者がいて、そういう文化が進んでいる場所なので楽しみにしてました。
Coming to Chicago has been one of my dreams, I won the Miss International Queen competition and anther year I was winner of the Chicago’s Lady contest.
シカゴ公演は多くの現地の方々と接する機会があると思いますが、はるなさんはどんなことを現地の人に伝えていきたいですか？
This event you are able to many have a chance to meet with Chicago peoples. What do you want to give to them?
日本の伝統的なものを楽しでもらいたいですし、私が日本で活躍していること知ってもらいたいです。
I hope the audience will enjoy a traditional and cultural Japanese experience and be entertained with my performance. I hope they love me enough to invite me back!
シカゴで吸収したいことはありますか？
What do you want to absorb get in Chicago?
エンターテイメントを吸収したいです。シカゴの音楽、出会いも楽しみにしてます。
I look forward to absorbing the atmosphere of Chicago and getting to meet some of my fans!

All Japanese residents who exciting your dinner show. What do you want to make up the show?
わたしのショーは皆さんと一緒になって作って楽しめるショーなので、当日はたくさん来て頂いて思い出に残る日にしたいです。
My performance will be having some audience participants and I wish to give an enjoyable experience for everyone to remember.
